Our training programmes
Electricity & electronics
Each appliance repair workshop is accompanied by training on basic electricity and electronics principles. This allows participants to build skills and, eventually, be able to repair the most common faults. Sessions last one hour and most are filmed. Our goal is to store these videos as tutorials on our website.
Bicycle repair
This year we are bringing in a professional regularly at the bike workshop to train volunteers and participants. Sessions last one hour and cover essential repairs and adjustments (changing a tyre, truing a wheel, adjusting a derailleur, replacing a brake cable, etc.).
Educational game design
This two-day training led by environmental education professionals allows participants to explore the theory of game and escape game design, acquire key physical and intellectual tools for conception, and create two escape games (one per team) that are tested at the end of day two.
We run 4 of these training sessions per year, each welcoming 8 to 10 people.
